Smooth, Low Friction Weld Overlay Wear Plate for Sticky Material Handling

AP-CF AbrasaPlate® is a high-quality compound weld-overlay hardfaced plate engineered for applications where sticky, hang-up-prone materials are a problem. Its chrome carbide overlay is applied using a unique compound process that produces a hard, crack-free wear-resistant cladding with an extremely smooth surface finish, significantly reducing material hang-up from sticky ores and other adhesive bulk materials. In independent ASTM G65 wear resistance testing, AP-CF outperforms AP-3000 AbrasaPlate®.

Processing
WeldingAbrasaPlate®-CF can be welded on mild steel using standard low hydrogen consumables. For hardfacing side to structural steels use Al-1707 stainless wire, or Al-207 electrodes.
Rolling & PressingAbrasaPlate®-CF can be rolled or pressed. Diameters depend on thickness of plate.
CuttingAbrasaPlate®-CF can be cut using plasma (from the back side), water jet or laser.
Welding
