Avweld have developed a revolutionary material which extends the life of high wearing parts in woodchip and related industries significantly over any other material which is available in Australia. Known as AV2000 this proprietary tungsten carbide has extremely high impact and abrasion resistance, making it perfect for the highest wearing areas in a chipper.
On chipper face plates, Avweld have managed to extend previous maximum service life of 100,000 tonnes, to almost 2 million tonnes.
